A lively storm over London seemed to mark the end of a great summer.

Shot between midnight and 3.30 on the morning of the 23rd, it seemed more newsworthy than useful stock footage so uploaded to the BBC, was used on the evening news.

 

Commissioned by Time Lapse Online, I was asked to produce a number of 4K time-lapse sequences for Volvo. Projected as scenic backdrops for sets on stage the time-lapse was used to cue shifts in time of day, looping holding sequences were used after each shift in time.

The weather could have been kinder. Shooting over six days I only captured one successful sunrise and sunset in Ingarö and it was touch and go in Gothenburg but got what was needed.
