In 2014 Dior started work on their new London boutique. In 2015 I was commissioned to record the on going construction and capture the skills and energy needed to complete the project. I wanted to record the transformation of the internal spaces from an empty shell to the arrival of Dior’s first customers from a fixed camera position. We identified a number of spaces that would remain relatively free from obstructions and would reveal interesting views of the completed boutique. I shot the first return location sequences in November of 2015 with the final sequences recorded 7 months later. It was a challenge to keep the camera locations referenced with the ever changing walls, ceiling and floor.
The final sequence in the film contains the first and last frames taken during the 12 months I recorded the development.

I was commissioned by Lion Television to produce time-lapse footage for the series The Wonder of Britain – five one-hour programmes in which Julia Bradbury chooses her favourite wonders that make Britain great.

I was briefed to record locations referenced in the script but not visited by the main film crews.

Travelling over 4000 miles; I visited 55 locations over 12 months and delivered 241 4K time-lapse sequences. This video is a sample of that work.
